Rates below calculated using
Trigger-rate tool run on Enhanced Bias samples of 550k events. (user.SethCaughron.misal1_mc12.EnhancedBias_1031.digit.RDO.v13004004;
you can find them in /castor/cern.ch/grid/atlas/atlasgroupdisk/trig-daq/user/SethCaughron). These are derived from the 14 TeV 6.8 million event PYTHIA 6.412 Minimum Bias sample.
Enhanced bias is a sub-sample of min bias events that satisfies one or more of the following L1 terms:
EM3, MU4, TAU5, J18, FJ18, XE25, TE250.
Note: a few triggers are biased low by enhanced bias cuts.
These are XE15, XE20, J5, J10, TE150 (for this sample only these rates have been replaced by rates from
full stats min bias run). MBTS* not measured.

Note this is based on about 150K Enhanced Bias Events from 3M Min Bias sample.
No correction was made for high passthrough settings on mu_4tile and mu4_mu6
which have high rates at L2 and EF (this was fixed by hand in 14 TeV rates,
and will be fixed with a x20 reduction of passthroughs in 14.5.0.3). Beware of other passthrough
rates 2mu6, mu40, which frequently cause confusion. Will try to get a list of these
posted soon
A normalization value of 65 mb was used for 10 TeV. {A note on normalization: even though PYTHIA min bias events are used, the cross section comes from PHOJET (historic). The normalization values thus are 70 mb (PHO) instead of 55 mb (PYT) for 14 TeV and 65 mb instead of 52 mb at 10 TeV.}
With these statistics the
single event sensitivity is 0.22 Hz, so for an unprescaled trigger 0 events corresponds
to a rate of <0.5 Hz at 90% C.L. (for an unprescaled trigger the rate upper limit
should be scaled down by the prescale).

A normalization value of 65 mb was used as described above. With these statistics the

to a rate of <5 Hz at 90% C.L. (for an unprescaled trigger the rate upper limit
should be scaled down by the prescale).

A normalization value of 65 mb was used for 10 TeV. {A note on normalization: even though PYTHIA min bias events are used, the cross section comes from PHOJET (historic).} With 3M 10 TeV min bias events used to make the enhanced bias samples the single event sensitivity is 0.22 Hz. per crossing).

10 TeV Luminosity = 1031 15.1.0.1 (new Calib)
A normalization value of 65 mb was used for 10 TeV (historic). With 3M 10 TeV min bias events used to make the enhanced bias samples (see V15.0.0 for Enhanced Bias data sample), the single event sensitivity is 0.22 Hz. Note this release temporarily used a new L1 calibration scale resulting in large decreases in jet rates and other triggers.

10 TeV Luminosity = 1031 15.1.0.2 (old Calib)

With 3M 10 TeV min bias events used to make the enhanced bias samples (see V15.0.0 for Enhanced Bias data sample), the single event sensitivity is 0.22 Hz. Note this release returned the L1 calibration scale to the level of V15.0.0 (the L1 calibration scale was temporarily modified in 15.1.0.1 resulting in large decreases in jet rates and other triggers).

900 GeV Luminosity = 1028 15.5.2.1
