Homework Assignments for 1444-501, Spring 2006

Since the only way to fully comprehend class material is by solving as many homework problems as possible.     An electronic version of homework assignment will be given in each class.  You will have to register first before you can begin working on your homework.  You need to input the class ID 44501, and your name.  Input "none" to the third box on the registration page since it only concerns UT Austin students.  Be sure to write down the assigne UT EID.  This will be needed for you to get to your homework page (follow the link 44501 with instructor Jaehoon Yu).   You then can also go to the Homework Assignment page and pick up your homework by clicking on the link 2.1.   You need to download homework and print them out to work on it.  Be sure to check the submission due date om button 3.2.  Solution will not be available until after the due date.   When you are done with homework, click on the link 3.1 for submission.   Be careful with the incorrect answers.  The homework system will deduct scores if you input incorrect answers.   It could go to 0 if you try too many times.

Homework constitutes 25% of the final grading.  For grading purposes, worst one of the expected 16 homework assignments will be dropped.  Again, please be careful in answering the homework assignments since there are deduction of points for those incorrectly answered.

The due for the given homework is always 6pm, one week after the assignment has been given. In other words, the due for the homework assignment given on a Monday class this week is 6pm of the next Monday.
