Commuincation method: Primary communication method of this class is via e-mail, especially given COVID-19 limitations.  Therefore, I strongly urge everyone of you to obtain a UTA e-mail account and make sure that your e-mail address at the time of the class registration is your most favorite, primarily checked e-mail address.  I will be using the e-mail addresses on the MyMav class roster as the primary source of communication. 

The lectures will be given in the form of mixture of computer presentations and traditional methods, depending on the situation.  You are strongly encouraged to ask questions and to engage in discussions concerning the class material.  While it is your own responsibility to attend every class, attendance will be randomly taken to be used for extra credit, and pop-quizzes will also be randomly given at the beginning of certain selected classes.   Pop-quizzes will constitute to 10% of the total credit as described in the evaluation policy.
